Eddie runs his own business consultancy specialising in business development for the retail, fashion and craft industries. His clients include Irish and international designers, blue chip corporations, state agents and emerging talent. He regularly delivers new product and business development programs for Enterprise Ireland, The Crafts Council of Ireland and various County Enterprise Boards. He is currently Chairperson of the Council of Irish Fashion Designers, a Director of the Leitrim Design house and an Associate at the retail consultants MH Consultancy. He has undertaken major retail projects for a leading Irish bank, the Blarney Group, Dunnes Stores, Penneys, The Kilkenny Group, Life Pharmacy and several independent retailers. He developed the ‘Irish Designers Create’ project with Brown Thomas – to introduce new Irish design to the store. He is also a regular contributor on business matters to Morning Ireland, News @ One and Drivetime (RTE), Business Breakfast and The Right Hook (Newstalk) and The Last Word with Matt Cooper (Today FM).

Colm Griffin set up purchase.ie in November 2009. Purchase.ie is a green-related online retail store that provides a range of over 300 products to help customers counter rising domestic bills by purchasing products that can help them save energy, conserve water and reduce waste. Very much a lean start-up, over the past four years the business has acquired thousands of customers and continues to grow at a steady rate. In 2012 the business branched out into wholesale, supplying  over 50 hardware stores in Ireland with a range of energy saving products. A BA(Hons) in Accounting and Human Resource Management graduate from the National College of Ireland, Colm spent the majority of his career in media sales, working with The Sunday Tribune and Setanta Sports for several years. In 2012 Colm undertook a FETAC approved Train the Trainer course and in the same year set up E-Commerce Ireland, a meet-up group to help Irish businesses sell online with greater success. The group meets on a monthly basis and membership has exceeded 500 people. Colm has also recently founded Ecomevents.com with colleagues, Ireland’s first dedicated provider of e-commerce training courses and events. Colm regularly delivers guest speeches on generating online traffic from a sellers perspective.

Eamonn Moore is a retail area manager with Eason & Son. Eamonn has a wealth of experience in retail management, gained from years of working for multi-national retail organisations. Eamonn is a Business Graduate and member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Eamonn has also provided consultancy services  to a number of retail organisations and is an advisor with Young Enterprise in Northern Ireland. In addition, Eamonn has lectured on IBEC and University programmes.

Working with IBEC, previously as an executive director with leadership responsibility for IR/HR strategy, and now as part of his business portfolio he provides consulting support on national IR/HR strategy, policy and dispute resolution. He also engages with trade unions, government and state agencies, with other stakeholders and as a commentator. He is a member of the board of the Labour Relations Commission, the Governing Board of the European Foundation for Living and Working Conditions and the board of Skillnets Ltd., the Training Networks programme and is a governor of the National College of Ireland. With an excellent appreciation of national and European developments, he is  member of the Social Affairs Committee of the European business body ‘Business Europe’ and works with the International Organisation of Employers and the International Labour Organisation on employment affairs.

As a human resources and industrial relations consultant, she provides full human resources support to small and mid-sized companies, performing such roles as building a human resources infrastructure, ensuring compliance of personnel files, designing employee handbooks, drafting job descriptions and improving employer / employee relations. Irene is skilled in the area of redundancy and dismissal. Irene also advises companies who are considering restructuring or downsizing and provides counsel and guidance to junior and senior level management.
