Last week saw 103 Woodies staff members from all over Ireland receive their Level 5 Certificates in Retail Customer Service! A special event was held at the Westbury Hotel in Dublin on Tuesday 1st November to celebrate their success.
Declan Ronayne, CEO of Woodies was in attendance to show his support for the colleagues. Deputy Fiona O’Loughlin, gave the graduates a warm address and congratulated them on their achievements. She went on to discuss the importance of upskilling staff in today’s competitive market and noted how Retail Ireland Skillnet offers this opportunity in a very practical way through work-based education.

As the body responsible for developing and delivering this award, Retail Ireland Skillnet’s network manager Sean Carlin commented how he was; “…delighted to be part of today’s celebration and to see so many Woodies staff benefit from the in-house training.”
